EVA (English Valve Amplifiers) 36w head. All working just as it should.
This is a genuinely killer head. They were handmade by Chris Uff.
It’s a PTP handwired turrent board, 4 x EL84 power section. Controls are Master, Bass, Mid, Treble, Gain. Single input, power/standby switch, 8/16Ohm outputs and a “tight and bright” switch on the rear which drops in a circuit that tightens up the bass and makes the mids a little more poky. Extremely expressive, loves pedals, good clean headroom but what you want this for is the range of breakup, from a little bit of hair to full-on harmonic sustain crunch glory. Needless to say it’s very bold and British sounding but not entirely Marshall, more like Orange grit but with the tone stack out of a Vox.
