Back     [Banjo]

1920’s VEGA PROFESSIONAL TENOR BANJO. ALVEY TURNER POT.

The neck has the serial number 88635, which dates it late 1920’s. It has its original Grover geared tuners and is straight with no fret or fingerboard wear. The pot comes from a John Alvey Turner mandolin banjo, circa 1930’s, which was probably made for them by J.G. Abbott. It is all original and complete. They fit together very well.

Overall a great playing banjo with a VERY good tone. Comes with a new hard case.
