A very rare item.
All original, made in England circa 1910. The case, which is rare to find, has a broken handle.
It is played upright, being held between your knees, and relies on a heavy vibrato technique. The sound is produced by a diaphram, similar to a 78 gramophone player, which is connected to the bridge.
