It was made in California, USA.
Apparently, the Squier model used the same neck and body as the standard USA Fender strat, but with imported, cheaper hardware, maybe Japan?

I believe it to be all original, including the tremolo arm (not in photos).

All working as it should. Straight neck, no fret or fingerboard wear.

These don’t turn up very often now, as they are an ideal opportunity to upgrade the parts, and own a ‘true’ USA strat, at a fraction of the cost.

March 15th, 2018

In very good working condition, all original. It has 2 jack socket inputs, with separate volume controls. The 9 pin socket has been removed. I believe it is rated at a ‘true’ 100 watts.

VINTAGE 16.5″ NIPPLE GONG with BEATER. DARK AND MEAN SOUNDING.

July 6th, 2017
Here is a vintage 16.5″  ‘nipple’ gong with beater, solid and heavy.

VOX 2×12″ cab with SELMER speakers and a LESLIE valve amp.

January 20th, 2017

Here is a Vox 2 x 12″ speaker cabinet that has been loaded with Selmer (Goodmans) speakers, powered by a Leslie valve amplifier. The cab has new castors fitted. The amp needs a pre-amp to drive it properly, which is why there is an Electro Harmonix LPB-1 in one of the photos (not included).

BURNS HANK MARVIN ‘CUSTOM ELITE’ 1964 ANNIVERSARY GUITAR and CASE.

August 17th, 2016

In very, very good condition with its case, strap, tools etc. There is one small chip in the finish, on the ‘horn’ near the strap button, and one tiny dent near the strap button at the bottom. I would describe the colour as  ‘pastel blue’, or is it turqoise? Either way, it is a very rare colour, usually they are red or white.

VINTAGE ABBOTT ‘ARISTONE’ ARCHTOP GUITAR. ENGLAND, 1930’s.

July 6th, 2016

Here is a lovely ‘old school’ archtop guitar, model LW, handmade by Jack Abbott senior, London, England around 1933. All solid wood, shame it’s missing its ‘The Aristone’ badge from the headstock. The label states – ‘Hand Made by J.G. ABBOTT & Co Ltd – the Guitar Craftsmen – LONDON W2’. The serial number stamped on the back of the headstock is 372.

It’s in great playable condition for its age, with plenty of ‘mojo’.

I have reset the neck to the body, no easy task.

So it now has a great action with a high bridge, so there is plenty of room for adjustment.

There are 3 cracks, repaired from the inside when I did the neck reset, one above and one below the left F hole, and one below the right F hole. No separations, rare for a guitar this age. It has its original tailpiece and Grover tuners, missing its scratchplate. Numerous scratches and dings, it has quite a small body, unusual for an archtop from this period.

WASHBURN PARLOUR GUITAR. R314KK ANNIVERSARY MODEL.

July 6th, 2016

It’s the anniversary model, so has a higher spec. than the norm, complete with its bespoke hard case. It is in good condition, straight neck with no fret or fingerboard wear. Please note, these have an aged worn finish, so it has deliberate signs of use, wood flaws, chips and knocks etc. Also, it has a pronounced V profile neck, just like they used to be.

VINTAGE HOFNER ‘WESTERN’ 12 STRING GUITAR. Model 5156. 1974?

July 6th, 2016

Serial number = 792. Solid spruce top, laminated mahogany back and sides, 3 part neck with rosewoood fingerboard. The condition is good, lots of lacquer cracks to the top, various dings, scratches etc. The scratchplate has been removed a long time ago, you can just see the faint outline of where it was. No wood cracks or separations, no fret or fingerboard wear.

1965 HOFNER GALAXIE. ALL ORIGINAL.

July 4th, 2016

Being sold on behalf of a customer.

Serial # 4547. In very good condition for its age. Some lacquer cracks, a few dings, dents and scratches. Straight neck with good frets and fingerboard. The electrics are all working just as they should, with no crackling or buzzing, remarkable!

The strap buttons have been replaced with Schaller locking versions, the bridge has been replaced with a period, gold plated ‘damper’ version. BUT, it comes with the original strap buttons and bridge, so is complete and all original.

YANAGISAWA SOPRANO SAXOPHONE. S6? S800? with CASE.

June 21st, 2015

Being sold on behalf of a customer.

The serial number dates it to around 1989. In good playing condition. Some scratches to the black lacquer finish, no dents. Comes with what appears to be its original case, and original mouthpiece. There is no model marking, it could be a S6 or a S800, my thought is it’s the latter.
